Handmade purse with yellow Shangri-lá Chita, 100% cotton fabric.
Chita de Alcobaça is a printed cotton fabric that originated in India. It was brought to Portugal in the 15th century and became very popular in the following centuries in decorative pieces and clothing all over Europe. The reason for the name “Chitas de Alcobaça” is still a mystery today. Chintz is characterized by its colourful patterns, wide or thin stripes and floral, animal, human or cornucopia motifs.
Available in cotton fabric and plasticized cotton fabric on top. Purses that are laminated on top are waterproof on the inside.
Note: the purse you receive may contain different parts of the fabric from the bags in the photos. If you want the purse to have a certain part of the fabric/design, you must indicate this.
the 15x9cm (rounded corners) and 15.5x9cm bags are ideal for glasses as they are padded.
