It was just an anonymous, pale sardine. It sought to gain color and participate in the Lisbon Festivities. As an icon of the Festivities, it deserved a monumental illustration. So, I sought to create a symbiosis between the sardine and the Santa Justa elevator. The Santa Justa Sardine, once anonymous and pale, now parades color and tradition.
Each sardine comes in individual packaging designed to look like newspaper, which also contains a list of the complete collection and a short history of each of the sardines in the collection.
