“Saudade Salgada” Sardine by Bordallo Pinheiro

A play dedicated to fishermen, without whom there would be no sardines at the Santos Populares festival. The sardine—small and silvery, carrying with it centuries of stories and symbolism—is much more than just a fish: it is a link between the past and the present, between faith and hope… and sometimes even death.

Each sardine comes in individual packaging designed to look like newspaper, which also contains a list of the complete collection and a short history of each of the sardines in the collection.

Dimensions: 3.5 x 18.5 x 3.5 cm
