Sardine “Oh My Love” Bordallo Pinheiro

Inspired by the love verses that Minho women embroidered on handkerchiefs for their boyfriends, this sardine represents the promise of infinite love. Valentine’s Handkerchiefs are recognized for their use of bright colors, symbols of love, and spelling mistakes. It was a romantic ritual of conquest in which needles were the keyboard of that time.

Each sardine comes in individual packaging designed to look like newspaper, which also contains a list of the complete collection and a short history of each of the sardines in the collection.
